Olga Ibrahim, Founder, Producer and TV Presenter, The Netcast, الروّاد
From her base in Beirut, Olga Ibrahim has spent two decades moving between the worlds of business and media, first as a consultant across engineering, construction, food and fashion industries, and later as the creator of an international platform that puts entrepreneurs and business leaders in front of a global audience. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and an MSc in International Business, and is a certified international business and fashion business development expert. Today she is the founder, producer and presenter of The Netcast, الروّاد, a business talk show airing on MTV Lebanon and reaching audiences across the MEA, GCC, USA, India and Africa. She is also CEO of NetCast International Project Management in Dubai, founder and CEO of Olla House of Events in Lebanon, a board member and Chairperson of the Media Committee at the Lebanese International Business Council, Executive Regional Director for MEA and GCC at Elite Women Network International, and Executive Member and PR Director for MEA at Beyond The Magazine, an Italian publication based in Milan.
Olga Ibrahim’s Journey Across Business and Media
“My journey has always been driven by one fundamental belief: stories have the power to transform economies, industries, and lives,” Ibrahim says. “I was inspired by the idea that media should do more than entertain, it should educate, inspire, connect, and create opportunities.”
That belief has stayed with her across every stage of her career. “Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of media and business, where meaningful conversations become catalysts for investment, innovation, and strategic partnerships. Every milestone has strengthened this vision, from producing high quality television content to building an international platform that connects entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and corporate leaders across borders.” Creating The Netcast, الروّاد, she says, remains one of the defining achievements of her career, because it “transformed a vision into a global business platform where leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship converge. Today, my mission extends beyond interviews, it is about creating an ecosystem that empowers decision makers and contributes to sustainable economic growth.”

Why Olga Ibrahim Created The Netcast, الروّاد
“I recognized a significant gap in business media. Too often, entrepreneurship is presented only through success stories, while the strategic thinking, resilience, failures, and leadership behind those achievements remain untold,” she explains. “I created The Netcast, الروّاد, to become a trusted international platform where authentic conversations inspire action. My objective was to bring together visionary entrepreneurs, investors, CEOs, innovators, economists, policymakers, and industry experts to exchange ideas that influence markets and create opportunities.” For Ibrahim, the show was never meant to be a standard talk format. “It is not simply a media program, it is a strategic communication platform that encourages collaboration, investment, and knowledge sharing on a global scale.”
The Qualities of Successful Business Leaders
“Regardless of industry or geography, exceptional leaders consistently demonstrate several defining characteristics,” she says. “First, they possess long term vision. They make decisions based on where the market is heading rather than where it stands today. Second, they embrace continuous learning. The strongest leaders remain curious, adaptable, and open to change. Third, they demonstrate resilience. Every successful entrepreneur has experienced setbacks, yet they transform challenges into strategic opportunities. Fourth, they build exceptional teams. Sustainable success is never achieved individually, it is built through empowering people and creating cultures of excellence.” She adds one final trait: “Finally, they lead with purpose. The world’s most respected leaders understand that profitability and positive impact are not competing objectives, they reinforce one another.”
The Future of Business Journalism and Authentic Storytelling
“Business journalism is entering a new era where speed is no longer the competitive advantage, credibility is,” Ibrahim says. “Artificial Intelligence will undoubtedly accelerate research, production, and content distribution. However, trust, integrity, and human insight will become even more valuable.” She believes the platforms that endure will be the ones that blend the two. “The future belongs to platforms capable of combining data driven intelligence with authentic storytelling. Audiences increasingly seek transparency, expertise, and meaningful conversations rather than sensational headlines. Authentic storytelling creates emotional connection while delivering strategic value. It transforms information into influence and audiences into engaged communities.”
Business Opportunities and Innovation in the Middle East
“Commercial success and editorial integrity should never be viewed as opposing forces. My philosophy is simple: credibility is the most valuable business asset any media platform can possess,” she says. “Every partnership, sponsorship, and collaboration must align with our values and contribute meaningful value to our audience. Long term trust generates long term commercial success.” She sees the responsibility of the platform as reaching further than content alone. “Our responsibility is not merely to produce content but to elevate conversations, promote responsible leadership, and create opportunities that benefit businesses and society alike.”

Women in Business and Leadership
“The Middle East is undergoing one of the most significant economic transformations of our generation,” she says. “Government initiatives, digital transformation, entrepreneurship ecosystems, investment funds, and ambitious national visions have created unprecedented opportunities across technology, healthcare, tourism, sustainability, manufacturing, finance, and creative industries.” Her advice to regional businesses looking to compete globally is direct. “Regional businesses can strengthen their global competitiveness by prioritizing innovation, embracing international standards, investing in research and talent, and building strategic cross border partnerships. Equally important is the ability to communicate their value proposition globally. Strong branding, effective storytelling, and international visibility are becoming strategic competitive advantages.”
How AI Is Transforming Media and Business Interviews
“Significant progress has been achieved, yet important challenges remain,” Ibrahim says. “Women continue to face barriers related to access to investment, executive leadership opportunities, mentorship, and international visibility.” She believes the answer has to go beyond visibility alone. “The solution extends beyond representation. We must create ecosystems where women have equal access to capital, education, networks, leadership positions, and decision making opportunities. Empowering women is not solely a social responsibility, it is an economic imperative. Diverse leadership consistently produces stronger innovation, better governance, and more sustainable business outcomes.”
Olga Ibrahim’s Vision for The Netcast
“Artificial Intelligence will become an indispensable strategic tool across media. It will enhance research, personalize audience experiences, improve multilingual communication, optimize production workflows, and generate deeper market insights,” she says. “However, AI cannot replace human wisdom, emotional intelligence, ethical judgment, or authentic relationships.” For Ibrahim, the technology is a tool rather than a replacement for the work itself. “The future belongs to organizations that use AI to amplify human creativity, not replace it. Technology should enhance authenticity, not diminish it. The most influential interviews will continue to be those driven by empathy, curiosity, critical thinking, and genuine human connection.”
Olga Ibrahim’s Philosophy on Leadership and Success
“My vision is to establish The Netcast, الروّاد, as one of the world’s leading business media platforms connecting global entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, innovators, and corporate leaders,” she says. She sees the platform growing well beyond the interview format it started with. “Beyond broadcasting interviews, I envision an international ecosystem that includes global forums, investment summits, strategic partnerships, leadership conferences, educational initiatives, and cross border business collaborations. I want the platform to become a catalyst for investment, innovation, entrepreneurship, and international economic cooperation.” For Ibrahim, the real measure of success sits elsewhere. “Ultimately, success will not be measured by audience numbers alone but by the partnerships created, businesses empowered, investments facilitated, and lives positively impacted.”
What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs, journalists, content creators and young professionals who want to build influential careers while creating meaningful impact?

“Never build your career around popularity, build it around value. Develop expertise before seeking recognition. Protect your credibility because reputation is your most valuable long term asset,” she says. “Remain adaptable, embrace lifelong learning, invest in relationships, and never underestimate the power of consistency. Success rarely comes from one extraordinary moment. It is the result of disciplined decisions repeated over many years.” She closes with a reminder about what leadership actually means. “Above all, remember that leadership is measured not by the position you hold, but by the positive impact you create for others.”
Personal Philosophy
“The philosophy that has guided my journey is simple: purpose creates vision, vision inspires action, action creates transformation,” Ibrahim says. “I believe every individual has the ability to influence the future through ideas, integrity, and meaningful contribution.”
Her message to the next generation is equally direct. “Dream boldly, think globally, lead with integrity, and never stop learning. Build businesses that create value, media that builds trust, and leadership that serves humanity. The future belongs to those who combine innovation with ethics, ambition with purpose, and success with responsibility,” she says. “Because true leadership is not about being remembered for what you achieved, it is about being remembered for the opportunities you created, the people you empowered, and the legacy you left behind.”
Olga Ibrahim continues to build The Netcast, الروّاد, alongside her roles at NetCast International Project Management, Olla House of Events, the Lebanese International Business Council, Elite Women Network International and Beyond The Magazine.
