Founder Voice

I am answering these questions personally as the Founder & Chairman of EFG-HUB Technologies. This version is written in my voice, with a direct investor and media tone.

Publication Purpose

This document is designed for media interviews, investor conversations, institutional introductions and leadership profiling. It presents the answers in a human founder voice while keeping the structure concise and professional.

My Opening Message

I founded EFG-HUB Technologies with a clear purpose: to build a trusted global ecosystem that connects Africa, the Gulf and international markets through trade, technology, talent, training, logistics, media, corporate services, AI, cybersecurity and future-generation opportunity.

EFG-HUB is not only a company. It is a platform of connected divisions designed to support entrepreneurs, suppliers, buyers, investors, universities, governments and institutions. My goal is to help transform African supply potential into structured, trusted and globally accessible opportunities.

Q1. EFG-HUB describes itself as an ecosystem, not just a company. What does that mean in practice?

For me, an ecosystem means that EFG-HUB is built as one connected structure, not a single-service company. Trade, technology, logistics, training, media, AI, cybersecurity, corporate services, technical solutions and automotive technology all work together under one vision.

In practice, this means that a supplier, entrepreneur, investor or institution can access different solutions through one trusted platform. A supplier may need documentation, logistics, training, branding and buyer access.

EFG-HUB is designed to bring those needs together in a professional and scalable way.

Q2. Why is Afro Market Portal central to your trade vision?

Africa has strong supply potential, but many suppliers still struggle with visibility, verified buyers, documentation, logistics and trust. I created Afro Market Portal to help solve that gap through a controlled B2B digital trade platform.

The platform is not designed to be only a listing website. It is built around supplier verification, KYC, local representatives, product approval, logistics coordination and buyer confidence. My goal is to make African trade more trusted, structured and globally accessible.

Q3. Why did you choose Dubai as the base for EFG-HUB?

I chose Dubai because it gives EFG-HUB credibility, connectivity and access to global business networks. Dubai is a strong base for trade, logistics, technology, investment and international partnerships.

Being headquartered in Dubai allows me to build with global standards while creating practical solutions for African markets. EFG-HUB’s registration under the Dubai Economy Department (DED) gives the company a professional UAE foundation for engaging investors, institutions, suppliers and international partners.

Q4. EFG-HUB has Eight (8) divisions. How do they work together?

The Eight (8) divisions are designed as one connected value chain. Afro Market Portal creates trade opportunities. EFG Logistics supports the movement of goods. EFG NextGen AI & Cybersecurity supports digital protection and innovation. EFG Institute develops training and talent. EFG Vision supports media, branding and storytelling. EFG Corporate Services supports business setup and documentation. EFG Technical Solutions supports facility and operational services. Hayat Al Wadi Automotive Technology supports vehicle technology and transformation services.

Each division has its own role, but together they strengthen one ecosystem.

My Recommended Starting Markets

For Afro Market Portal, I recommend starting with seven key African supply markets: Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia. These countries offer a strong balance of West, Central and East African supply strength, agricultural exports, trade relevance, regional coverage, product diversity and supplier potential.

Nigeria Scale, cocoa, cashew, sesame and non-oil export momentum.
Ghana Cocoa, gold, shea, cashew and West African credibility.
Côte d’Ivoire Cocoa, cashew, rubber, coffee and Abidjan trade access.
Cameroon Central African base with cocoa, coffee, timber and agriculture.
Kenya Tea, coffee, horticulture, flowers and East African connectivity.
Tanzania Cashew, coffee, sesame, spices and Dar es Salaam gateway.
Ethiopia Coffee, sesame, leather, textiles and agricultural identity.

Q5. How will you build trust across African markets?

I understand that Africa cannot be treated as one single market. Each country has its own culture, regulations, languages, logistics challenges and business environment.

My strategy is to build through local representatives, supplier onboarding, KYC, documentation, product verification, training and country-level coordination. Trust must be built on the ground, not only online. That is why local presence and international standards must work together.

Q6. Why are governance, KYC and compliance important to you?

For me, governance is not something to add later. It must be part of the foundation. If EFG-HUB is going to serve investors, buyers, suppliers, governments and institutions across borders, then trust, documentation and accountability must be clear from the beginning.

I want EFG-HUB to use verification, role-based controls, approval processes, transaction records, reporting systems and audit trails to support transparency and protect the integrity of the ecosystem.

Q7. What role will AI and cybersecurity play in the future of EFG-HUB?

AI and cybersecurity are becoming essential for every serious business and institution. AI will improve efficiency, training, trade, decision-making and service delivery. Cybersecurity will protect platforms, data, users and transactions as more activities move online.

Through EFG NextGen AI & Cybersecurity, I want EFG-HUB to support practical AI adoption, cybersecurity awareness, digital protection and future-skills training for youth, businesses, institutions and government partners.

Q8. What does an ideal partnership with EFG-HUB look like?

An ideal partnership with EFG-HUB is structured, measurable and mutually beneficial. For governments, it may involve youth empowerment, SME support, trade facilitation or digital transformation. For universities, it may involve training, certification, internships and innovation programs.

For investors, it offers access to a scalable Africa-Gulf-global ecosystem with multiple growth channels.

I am open to serious partnerships, but they must be professional, transparent and aligned with long-term value.

Q9. What are your most important objectives for the next 12 months?

My first objective is to complete and strengthen the core digital platforms, especially Afro Market Portal. My second objective is to activate the initial African supply markets with verified suppliers, representatives, product categories and real trade opportunities. My third objective is to secure serious institutional, investor, training, technology, logistics and strategic partnerships.

I will measure progress through verified suppliers, active buyers, representatives onboarded, platform activity, trade leads, signed partnerships, revenue growth, compliance records and institutional engagement.

Q10. What message would you leave for ministers, investors and African entrepreneurs?

Africa is not only a market of challenges; it is a market of future opportunities. Through EFG-HUB, I am building a bridge between Africa, the Gulf and the world through trade, technology, talent, innovation, training, logistics, media and structured partnerships.

My message is simple: the future belongs to those who build early, connect markets and invest in the next generation with vision, discipline and integrity.
