When Jason Hayes launched LuxuryProperty.com in 2017, he set out to solve a problem the global luxury real estate industry had largely ignored: premium properties were being marketed on platforms built for volume, not for the discretion, trust and editorial quality that high-net-worth buyers expect. Nearly a decade later, that vision has grown into a fully self-funded, technology-led marketplace spanning luxury real estate, branded residences, private jets, yachts and lifestyle assets across the globe.
A serial entrepreneur with three decades of experience across real estate and digital marketing in Europe and the United States, Hayes has built LuxuryProperty.com around proprietary technology rather than off-the-shelf software — from its CRM and content management systems to its AI-powered search agent, Ask Andrea. The platform has become one of the highest-authority destinations in luxury property, reaching millions of users monthly through organic search, editorial content, and AI-driven discovery have become essential pillars of modern digital marketing, and is now headquartered in Dubai, one of the world’s fastest-growing hubs for global capital and luxury lifestyle investment.
In this exclusive interview, Hayes shares the milestones that shaped LuxuryProperty.com’s growth, his perspective on how artificial intelligence is transforming luxury property search, why Dubai continues to draw investors from every continent, and the leadership lessons learned from building; and exiting, multiple global businesses. He also looks ahead to the company’s next chapter, including plans for an eventual IPO, and offers advice to the next generation of entrepreneurs building brands in an AI-first world.
1. Your entrepreneurial journey spans real estate, digital marketing, and PropTech. What inspired you to establish LuxuryProperty.com, and what vision did you have when you first launched the platform?
LuxuryProperty.com was born from a simple observation the luxury real estate sector deserved a better digital experience. Too many premium properties were being marketed on platforms that were designed for volume rather than quality. Luxury buyers expect exceptional presentation, trust, discretion and expertise, yet the technology serving the industry had changed very little over the last three decades.
Having successfully built and exited two scaled businesses both in the real estate and digital space over the past three decades in both Europe and the USA I saw a global opportunity to create something entirely different that being a technology-led platform dedicated exclusively to the world’s finest properties and luxury assets.
When we launched in 2017, the vision was never simply to build another property portal. The ambition was to create a global luxury ecosystem where extraordinary homes, branded residences, private aviation, yachts and other exceptional assets could be marketed through world-class technology and editorial-quality presentation.
It takes time to create perfection and as a boot-strapped business funded wholly by myself with no third party investors or funding rounds it has been a unrelentless and challenging but undoubtably enjoyable experience.
The advertising system is the only one of its kind backed by e-commerce functionality meaning advertiser pay on a usage basis paying monthly for the listings with no contracts and no minimum buy in quantities.
Today that vision continues to evolve as artificial intelligence, data and digital innovation redefine how affluent buyers discover and acquire luxury assets globally.
2. LuxuryProperty.com has evolved into a globally recognized marketplace for luxury real estate, branded residences, private jets, yachts, and other high-value lifestyle assets. What have been the key milestones that have shaped the company’s growth and success?
Every stage of our journey has been driven by long-term thinking rather than short-term growth.
One significant milestone was investing heavily into our proprietary technology instead of relying on off-the-shelf software. Building our own eco-system which includes, CRM, content management systems, mobile applications and marketing infrastructure has allowed us to innovate much faster than traditional digital advertising platforms.
Another milestone has been expanding beyond property into a broader luxury marketplace. Today’s affluent consumer doesn’t think in categories—they think in lifestyle. Whether it’s a waterfront villa, a superyacht, a private aircraft or an investment opportunity, they expect one trusted destination.
Equally important has been our organic only mindset which has meant investment in organic search, editorial content and global digital visibility. We recognised early that trust is earned through authority rather than advertising alone.
We are strong proponents of Google’s EEAT principles, believing trust and authority drive long-term digital success.:
- E – Experience
- E – Expertise
- A – Authoritativeness
- T – Trustworthiness
Perhaps the most rewarding milestone has been seeing LuxuryProperty.com become recognised internationally with our incredible Domain Authority rating clearly demonstrating ten years of hard work and proving that innovation can transform even the most traditional industries and hard work and endeavour can result in a digital performance that outperform the most established operators.
3. Artificial Intelligence is transforming how consumers discover and engage with luxury brands. How do you see AI-powered search changing the future of luxury real estate and digital property marketing?
I believe AI represents the most significant technological shift since the emergence of search engines.
Traditionally, consumers searched using keywords. AI allows people to describe aspirations instead of specifications. Rather than searching for “a five-bedroom villa in Dubai,” buyers will increasingly ask for:
“A contemporary beachfront home suitable for entertaining with strong long-term investment potential.”
AI understands context, lifestyle preferences and intent.
For luxury brands, this means marketing must become significantly more intelligent. High-quality data, structured content, professional imagery and authoritative editorial will become increasingly important because AI relies on trusted information to deliver recommendations.
Our own Ask Andrea AI Search Agent which was named after my beautiful wife who always knows everything this is what the future of real estate search is and we as a company are at the forefront of that technology and AI infrastructure.
The companies that embrace AI and in their own quality data today will, without doubt become the brands AI recommends tomorrow.

4. Dubai continues to attract investors and high-net-worth individuals from around the world. From your perspective, what makes Dubai one of the world’s leading luxury real estate destinations, and what trends should investors watch over the next five years?
Dubai has achieved something very few cities have managed by becoming a global centre for innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment.
Political stability, world-class infrastructure, favourable taxation, investor-friendly regulation and exceptional quality of life continue to attract entrepreneurs, family offices and ultra-high-net-worth individuals from every continent.
Over the next five years I expect several trends to continue shaping the market:
- Firstly, branded residences will continue attracting international buyers seeking both investment performance and hospitality-led living.
- Secondly, sustainability and intelligent building technologies will become increasingly important purchasing considerations.
- Thirdly, institutional investment into Dubai’s residential market will continue to grow as international funds recognise the city’s long-term fundamentals.
- Finally, AI and digital transaction technologies and the prevalence of Crypto transactions will simplify cross-border investment, making Dubai even more accessible to international buyers in this regard please click on LuxuryProperty.com/Crypto.

5. Your platform reaches millions of users through organic search, editorial content, and AI-driven discovery. How important is digital innovation in building trust and visibility for luxury brands in today’s competitive market?
Digital innovation has become inseparable from trust. Trust is earnt and every day we work hard to ensure we deliver though our platform a experience that is informative, factually accurate and indeed hopefully interesting.
Consumers, wherever they are maybe I the world conduct extensive research before making significant purchasing decisions. They expect a good User Experience, speed of content load, exceptional content, credible editorial, accurate information and seamless user experiences across every device be they in New York or Indeed at 40,000 feet in the air we must make sure out platform performs.
Technology of course should never replace relationships, but it should strengthen them and we remain of the view that technology such as ours opens the door to mutually beneficial buyer/seller relationships.
For us, innovation means giving buyers greater confidence while giving sellers greater visibility. Every improvement we make from faster search functionality to Crypto pricing on each of our real estate listings to AI-powered recommendations its ultimately about improving our performance and in turn the trust people place in LuxuryProperty.com.
“Brands that fail to innovate digitally risk becoming invisible.”
I lay claim to this quote as it forms the DNA that runs through the very digital soul of LuxuryProperty.com.

6. Luxury buyers today expect more than premium properties—they seek exceptional experiences and personalized services. How is LuxuryProperty.com leveraging technology and data to meet these evolving expectations?
Luxury today is increasingly defined by personalisation.
Technology allows us to understand buyer behaviour more intelligently while maintaining the discretion expected within the luxury sector.
Artificial intelligence helps surface relevant opportunities faster, while data analytics allow us to understand changing market trends and buyer preferences across different regions.
However, technology is only one part of the equation.
The human relationship remains fundamental. Technology should remove friction so our advisors can spend more time delivering strategic advice, market intelligence and exceptional client service.
“People buy from people they like and of course kindness always wins”.
This is a simple methodology and mindset but one that is accurate and has stood the test of time.
The future belongs to businesses that successfully combine intelligent technology with genuine human expertise.
“Excellence in all that we do”
is our operational mindset, our mission statement if you will.
7. Every entrepreneur encounters challenges while building a global business. Looking back, what have been some of your biggest challenges, and what leadership lessons have they taught you?
Firstly, realising that having founded, scaled and exited two business does not mean the third time is going to be easier! It’s not for sure you may avoid some potholes learnt the first two times but the truth is building any global business requires resilience, no one expected the global pandemic and indeed no one expected the Iranian war which has materially affected the United Arab Emirates where we are headquartered but the one thing I have learnt is:
“Everything always works out for me.”
These issues are there to make me and LuxuryProperty.com stronger.
Markets change, technology evolves, competitors emerge and unexpected global events can reshape entire industries overnight, but the digital marketplace keeps going 24/7/365 and so do must we.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that Leadership isn’t measured during periods of success but during moments of uncertainty, resilience, and long-term thinking.
“It’s not the size of the dog in the fight it’s the amount of fight in the dog that matters.”
Failure for me has never been an option so the ability to pivot to recognise that is not working time for us to try something else is key.
I’ve also learned the importance of surrounding myself with truly exceptional people. Great companies are never built by individuals; they are built by talented teams aligned behind a shared vision often lef by someone with a wonderful sense of humour 😊
Perhaps the biggest lesson is patience. Many entrepreneurs overestimate what can be achieved in one year and underestimate what can be achieved in ten.
Long-term thinking remains one of the greatest competitive advantages any business can have.
8. Beyond AI, which emerging technologies or innovations do you believe will have the greatest impact on luxury real estate, PropTech, and digital marketplaces over the next decade?
Proptech is interesting. I built my first website in 1995 that was 31 years ago and in truth very little has really changed. The concept of Photographs, description, brochure, enquiry remains and I cannot Forsee that basepoint changing.
Always important to understand what we do… I will ask the team what do we do? The new guys will give a fandangle answer, but many on the team know the simple truth… we market homes and luxury assets and connect buyers with sellers.
Simple!
And it does us good to ground ourselves sometimes back to the core mission.
I am sure several technologies will converge to reshape our industry. Like VR viewings with big, horrible headsets that make you feel sick or walkthrough technology which is just
- Digital identity and verification will make international transactions significantly more secure.
- Blockchain infrastructure will continue improving transparency and transaction efficiency.
- Predictive analytics will enable much more sophisticated investment decision-making.
- Spatial computing and immersive visualisation technologies will fundamentally change how buyers experience properties remotely.
- At the same time, automation will streamline compliance, documentation and transaction management.
The most successful businesses will not adopt technology simply because it exists—they will adopt technology that genuinely improves customer experience.
9. What is your long-term vision for LuxuryProperty.com, and how do you see the company evolving as the global market for luxury assets continues to expand?
Our ambition is to IPO in the next five years… that is the goal that extends well beyond real estate and will see me achieve my lifelong ambition to bring one of my companies to market.
We are building an integrated technology platform where buyers, sellers, developers, investors and advisors can connect seamlessly through intelligent technology supported by exceptional service.
Artificial intelligence will increasingly personalise every aspect of the customer journey while our technology platform continues expanding internationally.
Ultimately, our objective is simple:
Whenever someone anywhere in the world thinks about buying or marketing a luxury asset, LuxuryProperty.com should be the first brand they think of.
10. Finally, what advice would you give to entrepreneurs and business leaders who aspire to build globally recognized brands through innovation, technology, and customer-centric thinking?
Breath! Have Fun! Smile!
Everything will always work out ok!
Start with solving a genuine problem rather than chasing trends. Invest relentlessly in your product, your people and your reputation.
Build systems that scale rather than businesses that depend entirely on individuals.
Don’t underestimate the power of consistency. Great brands are rarely created through one breakthrough moment they are built through thousands of small improvements over many years.
Most importantly, Think globally from day one by building systems that support sustainable international growth. Technology and the device in your hand have removed geographical boundaries. Even relatively small companies can now compete internationally if they deliver genuine value.
Optional Closing Question
“Perfection may be unattainable, but pursuing excellence every single day creates extraordinary outcomes over time.”
To the next generation of entrepreneurs, I’d simply say this: be patient, stay curious, embrace technology, never stop learning and never compromise your integrity. Reputation is one of the few assets that appreciates throughout an entire career.
